Our fees are extremely competitive for the professional service we provide at Thriving Now. The fee structure is based on recommendations from The Australian Psychological Society, the National Disability Insurance Scheme and Medicare. Payments are required at the end of each session and can be made by cash, EFTPOS, Private Health, or Credit Card.
Thriving Now are registered providers with the NDIS. As a self-managed, plan managed or agency-managed client, your funding can be used toward supports we provide including psychology, support work and animal-assisted therapy sessions.
If your private health insurance policy includes coverage for psychology, you may be eligible for a rebate. Please note private health rebates cannot be claimed in addition to Medicare rebates.
If your GP refers you to Thriving Now on a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP), you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate on up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year.
Once 6 sessions have been completed, we will update your GP on your progression of therapy, and they will issue a further 4 sessions if they deem it necessary.
Please be advised we are a private billing practice, and do not bulk bill appointments. You are welcome to discuss any payment concerns with your psychologist during your first session.
